Koh Kood is Thailand's 4th largest island and known for its pristine beaches. This island caters to those looking for a quieter island getaway.
We enjoyed our time eating amazing food, checking out some of the most pristine beaches on the island, and playing around in some waterfalls.

In our previous video we looked around the White Sand Beach area in the north of Koh Chang and then made our way down the East coast to Koh Ngam and Salak Phet.

Thailand has so many magnificent holiday destinations to experience and we think this one at Koh Chang is right up there with the best in the world.
We split our trip in to 2 parts and in this video we show you the North and the East Coast of what we think is possibly Thailand's best holiday destination, Koh Chang.
We start with a look around the most popular part of this Island, White Sand Beach a great town with lots of modern accommodation and facilities. We'll show you around the town and the along the stunning coastline. It is a great place to spend your Thailand Holiday.

We book ahead of time so we don’t miss out on the fun when we are there.
The first day trip on our list was to go out to the popular Wat Huay Mongkol, a monument to a famous Thai Monk that was said to be able to perform miracles. We drive up the coast to the lovely seaside town of Cha Am and show you some of the cool things you do when taking a day trip from Hua Hin. South of the city we visit Suan Son Beach and the headland at Khao Tao. We also visit the impressive Rajabhakti Park where see the monument to 7 of Thailands Great Kings.
If you are visiting Hua Hin in Thailand these are some awesome ideas for day trips to explore this area.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to drop us a comment to let us know what is the best attraction in the Hua Hin area.
This travel guide will show you where to go for the best of Hua Hin - Thailand. Night Markets, including the Hua Hin Night Market, Cicada Night Markets and Tamarind Night Markets.
We will take you for a walk around Khao Takiab Beach and the Khao Takiab Hill. The shopping is great in Hua Hin and Market Village Shopping Centre was a winner with the best food court we have found in our travels through Thailand and South East Asia so far.
Thailand is famous for it's exciting night life and you will definitely find it here in Hua Hin. We look through Soi Bintabaht and checkout the bars. There is also Soi 80 and the very popular Soi 94 to find a bar to have a few drinks and relax and enjoy your Thailand Holiday.
The beaches here are not as famous as some in Phuket or Koh Samui but they are still a great place to go and enjoy a swim in the warn Thailand waters on your tropical holiday.
We explored the main town of Thong Sala where the ferries will drop you off from Koh Samui or Koh Tao and where you can do some shopping and eat at the Pantip Night Markets.
We went to Haad Rim, the place best known for it huge monthly Full Moon Party, however we were there on a beautiful calm sunny day.
Koh Phangan was a delight to discover and we hope you enjoy this Robshaztravels Video and please hit the like button and leave us a comment below of where your favourite place is in Koh Phangan Thailand.
Discover why this destination in Thailand should be on your travel bucket list.
Set on the North East Coast of Koh Phangan, Thong Nai Pan turned out to be a real treat. With stunning tropical beaches ideal for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding or just relaxing. This twin bay location was beautiful to see and it showed us a couple of surprises we weren't expecting.
The Village at Thong Nai Pan Noi was an absolute treasure. It has some great boutique shops for retail therapy while you are enjoying your vacation in Thailand and all the facilities that you need while on holidays. There were some cool bars to stop in and enjoy your afternoon beers and maybe even make some new friends. You can also organize Island Tours and diving charters from here.
We were able to find a walk to a stunning viewpoint at the top of the hill in the middle of the Thong Nai Pan Bay and overlooked this beautiful Location at Thong Noi Pan on Koh Phangan that you must go and see. There is even a Pagoda at a Buddhist Monastery made from beer bottles.
If you are planning a trip to Thailand and are looking to spend some time on Koh Phangan we can highly recommend Thong Nai Pan.

We soon find out that this area of Thailand has everything we need for shopping including buying new bedding and furnishings for the a. Our new favourite shop has to be Mega Home, it has a great selection of Electrical products plus a full hardware section.
We also explore the biggest shopping center in the area "Central Pattaya".
We have done this trip a couple of times now from Phuket to Koh Lanta and in this video we have a look at whether the Ferry or the Speedboat is better. We took a Ferry from Phuket to Koh Lanta at the end of January 2024. Leaving from Rassada Pier Phuket it headed out to first to Phi Phi Island where we got to have a look at Maya Bay and Phi Phi Lay Lagoon along the way. We stopped in at the Pier on Koh Phi Phi Don then changed over to the smaller ferry that took us across to Sala Dan Pier in Koh Lanta. The trip was pleasant, comfortable and took around 3 hours. The facilities on the Ferry were very good with food and drinks available to purchase.
When we returned to Phuket from Koh Lanta we decided to take the speedboat so that we were able to make a genuine comparison between the two. We left Sala Dan Pier in Koh Lanta and made our way directly to Phuket without the stop over on the way back at Phi Phi Island. Sometimes this Speedboat trip has to stop off at Phi Phi Island if there are not enough customers to go to Phuket directly. We were lucky on this day. The ride back on the speedboat took around 1 hour and 25 minutes.
The Speed Boat was booked through Time Travel and Tour @ Lanta the service provider was Bundhaya Speedboats. The booking was done through WhatsApp and number was 081 535 1970. It cost 2300฿ for both of us including pick up from our Hotel.
If you check out the video we will show you both ways and you will be able to figure out what is the best way for you to travel between Phuket and Koh Lanta and the beautiful South of Thailand.
If you have any question please send us an email, happy travels from Rob and Shaz.

We almost gave up until we came across "Following Giants" in Koh Lanta in the South of Thailand province of Krabi. At this Sanctuary you are not allowed to touch, feed, wash or ride these wonderful gently giants. The idea is to not make the Elephants do anything that is not in their natural behaviour and that is exactly what found.
The Elephants have been rescued from Logging or tourism and given a life where they can be free to do whatever they like.
Set in around 45 acres of natural bush land in the beautiful Island of Koh Lanta we had an experience with Following Giants that we will not forget. We took the 2 hour package which included picking us up from our hotel then taking us around the property to spend time with these wonderful creatures. It was a very humbling experience.
You check out their packages and prices on their website https://www.followinggiants.net/
We show you Khlong Dao, Prae Ae, Long Beach, Bamboo beach, U Bay, AO Nui Bay, Diamond Cliff Beach/Nui Beach, Klong Nin, and Kantiang Bay.
We stop in at Blue Planet Divers and have a chat to the owner about his dive trips and how much they cost.
We stop at the lovely Good Life Restaurant & Bar which overlooks the pier where the speedboats and ferries leave from to have the yummiest satay chicken we've had in Thailand.
Then we journey around to show a little of what the area has to offer.
Definitely do yourselves a favour and do a trip to Sala Dan and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the locals in this very beautiful and quaint area.
We left Phuket at 10.00 and arrived at Koh Lanta at 1pm. Rob collected our motorbike from Seahorse Lanta Travel, you can book your bike or day trips from their FB Page which we have added below. seahorselantatravel
And if your a scuba diver or snorkeler you can book your trips day trips with Blue Planet Divers FB and website below. Go have a chat they are very helpful.
The area has a great main street with Bars and Restaurants to satisfy your tastebuds. The fresh seafood market along the Rawai foreshore has outstanding produce for you to purchase then cross the laneway to one of the many Restaurants where you can get your seafood cooked on the spot while you wait, the best way to eat to seafood we think.
The area has a some excellent fitness facilities including Muay Thai Gyms, Yoga Studios and MMA training as well, plus it is only 5 minutes away to the stunning Naiharn Beach and Yanui Beach, some of the best in Phuket.
With outstanding accommodation choices there is something to suit all types of travels to this upcoming area of Thailand.
Rawai is a place we recommend you visit and make your mind up whether this is somewhere that suits you when you travel to Phuket Thailand.

Spread out over approximately 30 kilometers of coast line Khao Lak has some outstanding beaches like the famous Memories Beach Surf spot, White Sand Beach, Coconut Beach, Khuk Khak Beach, Nang Thong Beach and Small Sandy Beach in the National Park. Khao Lak area has Thap Lamu Port which is the gateway to the magnificent Similan Islands National Park.
This area has made a very strong recovery after being devistated by the 2004 Tsunami and really is worth adding to your list of destinations when planning your Thailand Travel Adventure.
We have created this guide to let you know what you can expect when you make your way to Khao Lak. This will help you decide where you want to stay and give you some ideas for activities to do while you enjoy your Thailand holiday in Khao Lak.
But we also found some amazingly stunning hidden gems like the beautiful Bang Sak beach, one not to the be missed while you are exploring the Khao Lak region in Phang Nga Province in the South of Thailand
The boat trip takes off from Thap Lamu Port in the Khao Lak region and takes about 90 mins on the boat before you get out to the Similan Island Archipelago. The Boat Trip is targeted towards people that are interested in Snorkeling and we had some of the best Snorkeling we have ever had in our lives.
We were able to dive with the magnificent Green Sea Turtles and an abundance of Sea Life, plus we got to see beautiful healthy coral in many varieties. We had an amazing day on the water and under it.
About 40 minutes drive from Sandakan is the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is located in the Sepilok Forest Reserve and was established in 1964 to care for and nurture orphaned Orangutans. We had a wonderful time walking around and checking out the Orangutan Nursery where the youngest of the Orangutans learn the skills to make there way out in to the big wide world.
There is a feeding platform where the adult and adolescent Orangutans can go to get food to supplement their diets and lucky people like us can go to observe them in a habitat that is close as we can get to their natural environment. It was a great experience.
Just adjacent to the Orangutan Centre is a Sun Bear Conservation Centre where you can go to observe the Sun Bears that are being cared for as they are threatened by deforestation and human mistreatment. This was also an experience that we won't soon forget.
Then it was time to head in to the town of Sandakan to take a look around at this City
It was a truly immersive experience as we learnt about the rich cultural heritage of indigenous people of Borneo. We sampled local cuisine, drank rice wine, coffee and pandan juice and also had fun jumping on the springing bamboo floor.
We felt extremely grateful and full of knowledge of the rich culture of the beautiful people of Borneo when we left.
We highly recommend you take a trip out and enjoy the wonderful hospitality from everyone at the Mari Mari Cultural Village.

In this video we explore the Capital City of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu or as the local call it "KK". We take a look at what you can do when you visit KK from the Gypsy Seafood Markets, the Gaya St markets, the vibrant KK Waterfront and we go to watch the Sunset at Tanjung Aru Beach and Night Markets.
We hope you enjoy a look around KK and hopefully you might find out as we did that there is more to do in Kota Kinabalu.
We travelled through the south of Thailand earlier this year and we've tried to put together a 2 week travel itinerary from our experience being there. We start you off in Ao Nang Krabi, a vibrant tourist town on the coast of the Andaman Sea with heaps to do.
Day trips include Emerald Pool, Krabi Hot Springs, 4 Island Tour, Railay Beach and khlong Root Kayaking. The next place we recommend is the stunningly beautiful beaches of the chilled out Island of Koh Lanta. Then make your way across to Koh Samui, a famous tourist Island in the Gulf of Thailand where you see waterfalls, Tarmin Magic Gardens or take a brilliant day trip out to Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park where you will find a truly breathtaking view point.
We hope this video helps you get planning and if you have any questions at all about the places where have been or where we stayed or need help planning your trip, drop us an email.
We started our night at the Karon Temple Night Markets where we had a walk around the brilliant Temple Grounds and checked out all the Market Stalls, and spent some money (lol).
We had a great time in Phuket and especially liked the Karon Temple Night Markets where we did some shopping before we walked through the town and had a look at the restaurants and bars, plus the stunning Roundabout Monument.
If you are in the Karon area we really recommend taking the time to check this place out and as always we hope you have enjoyed another video.
We booked a van and took off from our hotel at the BlueSotel SMART Krabi Ao Nang Beach. It's an easy trip from Ao Nang over to Koh Lanta with some beautiful scenery along the way.
We caught the Ferry across from Krabi to Koh Lanta Noi the smaller of the 2 islands and then drive over the Siri Lanta Bridge to Koh Lanta Yai and then made our way to the Long Beach Chalet to check into the resort.
We booked the beach front chalet which we were very happy with and would book again. It has the best ocean view with amazing sunsets, perfect white sandy beach and crystal clear water.
We had a relaxed evening enjoying the beautiful Long Beach in Koh Lanta, we enjoyed dinner and a fire show and a few cocktails before turning in for the night.
We had a great time riding around this stunning little tropical Island in Krabi and went down to the Southern tip to check out Mu Koh Lanta National Park before dropping in to visit a couple of pristine beaches. We rode up and over the hill to Koh Lanta Old Town and rode through the picturesque rural countryside.
We took a van from our chalet (cost 500baht) to Krabi Airport which took around 3 hours so allow enough time to get to the airport the traffic leaving Koh Lanta can get quite congested which means it will take a while to get onto the ferry to leave Koh Lanta to get back onto the mainland of #krabi
We then hopped on a Bangkok Airways flight and took the short 50min flight to Koh Samui, we got a light snack on the plane which was a surprise for a short trip but we quickly realised that Bangkok Airways really take care of their passengers.
In this video, we leave our villa in Lamai Koh Samui and go for a ride up in the hills in the middle of this tropical Island to visit the peaceful and fantastic Tarnim Magic Gardens. If you are looking for an adventure in Koh Samui we really recommend this day trip. The gardens were exquisite, filled with statues and buildings created by Khun Nim a retired Durian farmer and it eventually became the resting place for him and his wife. This unique garden is filled with magical trees, a waterfall, and more!
Koh Samui has a lot to offer so after we were finished we rode down the hill to check out the very popular Na Muang Waterfall, a prominent swimming hole for many of Koh Samui's locals. Our adventure doesn't end there however, we ride to the southernmost coast of Thailand's second-largest Island, Koh Samui, and check out Bang Kao Beach.
Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Ang Thong National Park is a stunning archipelago composed of 42 pristine islands, each offering breathtaking natural beauty.
With crystal-clear turquoise waters, vibrant coral reefs, and lush tropical jungles, this paradise is a haven for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
One of the park's highlights is the Emerald Lake, also known as Talay Nai, a hidden lagoon nestled within limestone cliffs. Its striking jade-colored waters are a sight to behold.
Ang Thong National Park also offers incredible opportunities for wildlife sightings. Keep an eye out for playful dolphins, majestic sea turtles, and a diverse array of tropical birds.
Whether you're seeking thrilling adventures or simply looking for a serene escape, Ang Thong National Park has it all. Explore volcanic caves, relax on secluded beaches, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of this hidden gem.
So why wait? Grab your hiking boots, snorkel gear, and sense of adventure, and discover the wonders of Ang Thong National Park.
We leave our villa in Lamai Koh Samui and make our way to the impressive beach front Villa in the Crystal Bay Yacht Club at Silver Beach. Then we take a great ride and head to the North of Koh Samui to this amazing Beach, Choengmon.
Imagine walking up and hearing the sound of gentle waves crashing against the shore and feeling the warm sun on your skin. At Choengmon Beach, you can indulge in pure relaxation as you soak up the breathtaking views of crystal-clear turquoise waters and lush palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze.
Indulge your taste buds with delicious Thai cuisine served at the local beachfront restaurants. From mouthwatering street food to exquisite seafood dishes and don't forget to quench your thirst with a refreshing coconut drink.
We then head back to the fun night markets at Lamai Koh Samui and try a Thai classic dish Khao Soi. it was a treat.
The next day we show you sunrise at Cystal Bay - Silver Beach
Koh Samui is truly a tropical paradise unveiled. Experience the magic for yourself and create memories that will last a lifetime.
We hope this guide to Ao Nang in Krabi is helpful and we'd love to hear from you about your adventures in Krabi Thailand, or need help planning your trip drop us an email.
The captain took us across the bay to start our 4 Island Tour at Koh Poda, then we went over to walk across the sand bar at Thale Waek. Finishing up our day with some amazing food and a swim at the stunning Railay Beach. Railay beach is somewhere we did not spend enough time on this trip, but I dan guarantee that we will be back to this Gem of place.
We paddled across the lake then up the stream through the beautiful rainforest to the bubbling springs and back to the swimming hole where we jumped into the chili water for a refreshing dip.
We left from our hotel in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand just after breakfast and took a short 15 min ride to Khlong root, then headed to one of Thailand's lesser known but still beautiful beaches Klong Muang Beach.
Krabi Thailand is a gorgeous place to visit on you holidays we think this is a must do while your there.
Then enjoyed the tranquil nature walk along the stream through the rainforest back to the start. After a quick bite to eat, we headed over to check the Krabi Hot Stream and Hot Springs. Also set in the magnificent Rain Forest this stream is around 35 degrees C.
It was a great experience and the setting was magnificent. The walk back along the stream was stunning also. We had a great day and we hope you enjoy this video.
In this video we show you our brilliant day out on the Andiamo Catamaran with Blue Phoenix Travel where we went on a the full day charter tour across to Maiton Island and Coral Island of the South Coast of Phuket. We went snorkeling and Stand Up Paddle Boarding.
The Blue Phoenix Travels crew were amazing especially the awesome host of the day "Ipsy". We can thoroughly recommend the Andiamo Catamaran and Blue Phoenix Charters for your trip to Coral Island and Maiton Island.
We had a great time on the water slides, the huge pool for paddle boarding, underwater scooters, on the zipline and just hanging out having a few beers. The day was more fun than we expected and we would highly recommend the Blue Tree Lagoon Water Park for an excellent day out in Phuket.
On this trip we took a ride down to the South of the Island to the Rawai area and went to Nai Harn Beach and Ao Sane Beach. We had a great time on our day trip. We went for a run and exercise around Nai Harn Lake, then for an excellent Breakfast at Sea Oak Cafe.
After Breakfast we went to Nai Harn for a swim at this beautiful beach. Next was a short motorbike ride to Ao Sane Beach to take in the beautiful views and chill out on the day bed. All in all it was a brilliant day checking out the beaches around Phuket Island
Our first stop to was to look in at Bang Tao Beach and Surinat National Park. Second was our favourite beach for the day and almost our favourite beach in Phuket and that was Banana Beach. After hanging out at Banana Beach for a few hours we rode our Motorbike up and over the hill to Nai Thon where had a look at Nai Thon Beach and then had lunch at the Nai Thon Beach Club.
After lunch we headed back down to Surin Beach were we stayed the night at the outstanding Norn Talay Resort. This is part 1 there is another video coming soon. Just another magical day tripping around Phuket Thailand.
We had an awesome day trip out to Patong Bay's Southern Peninsula to Paradise Beach. Paradise Beach is certainly one of Phukets most Beautiful Beaches. We went swimming with the fish and hanging out in this Beautiful Bay. There will be more videos coming up as we make our way around Phuket Island to check out the great beaches places.

It all looks great 👍
